Good Afternoon SSD Families,
We hope all of our families are having a wonderful summer and enjoying the warm weather and beautiful sunshine. We wanted to send a quick reminder that there are a number of support services available this summer.
EXPANDED MEAL PROGRAM
To best serve our families with FREE Grab-n-Go meals throughout the summer, we are teaming up with community partners to expand the number of locations to pick up free breakfasts and lunches on weekdays! All children 18 years and younger can pick up free meals from Grab-N-Go locations according to the schedule below.
Dillon Valley Elementary
Monday - Friday

Meals will not be available on July 5-6, and children do not need to be enrolled at the school where the meal is being picked up. Please see the flyer for more information about the Meal Program.
PANDEMIC EBT (P-EBT)
The state has extended the P-EBT program to allow additional time for families to qualify and receive benefits! P-EBT is a program that provides financial benefits on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card to Colorado families who were not able to access school meals due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you apply and qualify for free and reduced school meals (Free/Reduced application) before June 30, then you may be eligible to receive financial benefits from the start of the 2020-21 school year and the 2021 summer months! We ask that if you apply for benefits before June 30, that you also complete another application after June 30 to receive Free & Reduced Lunch benefits for the 2021-22 school year.
If you apply and qualify after June 30, then you may be eligible to receive benefits for the 2021 summer months and the 2021-22 school year.

INTERNET ACCESS
A new, temporary federal program, Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB), has been created to help eligible households pay for internet service. To support EBB, Comcast Xfinity is offering benefits for new and existing customers in all tiers of Xfinity Internet service, including Internet Essentials. Families are able to apply for internet benefits on the Xfinity website, www.xfinity.com.

Deseamos que todas nuestras familias estén compartiendo un verano maravilloso y disfrutando del clima cálido y el hermoso Sol. Queremos recordarles rápidamente de la serie de servicios de apoyo disponibles este verano.
EXTENSION DEL PROGRAMA DE COMIDAS
Para servir mejor a nuestras familias y asistir con las comidas gratuitas de Grab-n-Go durante todo el verano, nos estamos asociando con miembros de la comunidad para aumentar el número de lugares para recoger desayunos y almuerzos gratis entre semana. Todos los niños menores de 18 años pueden recoger comidas gratis en los lugares de Grab-N-Go de acuerdo con el siguiente horario.

No habrá comidas disponibles los días 5 al 6 de julio, los niños no necesitan registrarse en la escuela donde recogen la comida.
EBT PANDÉMICO (P-EBT)
¡El estado ha extendido el programa P-EBT para permitir tiempo adicional para que las familias califiquen y reciban beneficios! P-EBT es un programa que proporciona beneficios financieros en una tarjeta de Transferencia Electrónica de Beneficios, (EBT), para las familias de Colorado que no pudieron acceder a las comidas escolares por causa de la pandemia de COVID-19.
Si solicita y califica para comidas escolares gratuitas y reducidas, (solicitud gratuita / reducida), antes del 30 de junio, ¡entonces puede ser elegible para recibir beneficios financieros desde el inicio del año escolar 2020-21 y los meses de verano 2021! Le pedimos que si solicita beneficios antes del 30 de junio, que también complete otra solicitud después del 30 de junio para recibir beneficios de almuerzo gratis y reducido para el año escolar 2021-22.
Si aplica y califica después del 30 de junio, entonces puede ser elegible para recibir beneficios para los meses de verano 2021 y el año escolar 2021-22.

ACCESO A INTERNET
