State of the District (Estado del Distrito)
Hello Summit School District Families,
It is with pride and appreciation that we present our community with the State of the District, a reflection of the celebrations during the first semester of the 2020-21 school year. During one of the most complicated school years in national history, and while the COVID-19 pandemic has presented many unexpected challenges that we never could have imagined, this report showcases the numerous successes and celebrations of Summit schools and the District thus far this school year.
The State of the District highlights our progress to provide an equity-minded and learning-focused education to the scholars in our Summit community. Across our district, staff are working in cooperation with our scholars and families to ensure that each Summit scholar has been provided with the enabling conditions, resources and supports to thrive.
As you review the State of the District, we invite you to take a moment to reflect back on the first semester of the 2020-21 school year and know that we are a better community because we are all in this together, working collaboratively for our scholars.
We are proud to be part of a community that cares so deeply about the success of every scholar.

Es con orgullo y apreciación que nosotros presentemos a nuestra comunidad el Estado del Distrito, una reflexión de las celebraciones durante los primeros meses del año escolar 2020-2021. Ya que la pandemia ha presentado muchos retos inesperados que nunca pudimos haber imaginado, este reporte ilustra los éxitos numerosos de las Escuelas Summit y del Distrito.
El Estado del Distrito remarca nuestro progreso para proveer una educación de clase mundial para los estudiantes en nuestra comunidad Summit. Estamos orgullosos de nuestra reputación como un excelente sistema de escuelas públicas, ya que nuestro continuo mejoramiento permanece en nuestra jornada diaria. En todo nuestro Distrito, los Educadores, Directores y Personal de Apoyo, están trabajando en cooperación con nuestras escuelas y familias, para asegurar que cada graduado de Summit deje nuestras escuelas y llegue preparado y listo para su carrera y la universidad.
Como usted revise el Estado del Distrito, nosotros le invitamos a tomar un momento para reflexionar sobre el primer semestre del año escolar 2020-2021 y sepa que somos una comunidad mejor, ya que estamos todos juntos en eso, trabajando en colaboración para nuestros estudiantes.
