Labor Day Reminder (Recordatorio para el Día del Trabajo)
Hello Summit School District Families,
As schools will be closed on Monday, September 7 to observe Labor Day, we would like to take this opportunity to remind families to keep yourself and others safe and healthy by following public health recommendations.
Remember this holiday weekend to follow Summit County Public Health's six commitments to containment:
If your child started to develop symptoms this week and symptoms have not gotten better -OR- If your child develops symptoms over the weekend:
Take your child to get a COVID-19 test.
Schedule an appointment with your doctor.
Stay home.

Please note: Summit County testing sites are open on weekends 9-noon but will be closed on Labor Day, September 7.

Testing insurance/payment: Uninsured/underinsured persons will be covered at no out-of-pocket cost. Where applicable, insurance will be billed.
If your child has symptoms for over 24 hours, we will ask you to get a COVID-19 test for your child so the cohort/class can continue to go to school.
If your child has symptoms for over 24 hours, we will ask that your child goes to the doctor so he/she can return to school.
We appreciate our families for staying vigilant in helping prevent the spread of COVID-19 by daily completing the symptom tracker form, keeping children home when they have symptoms, and notifying the school with those symptoms.
